ST. LOUIS -- A new bike sharing program is aiming to help people get around downtown a little easier.
Mayor Lyda Krewson announced the city is partnering with bicycle rental companies "Lime Bike" and "OFO" bringing more than a thousand bicycles to different locations throughout the city.
Hugh Share with Cycle St. Louis says "the program will help keep pollution levels down, ease traffic congestion and better connect communities within the city together."
Those involved say the program will hopefully lead to more people riding bikes in the St. Louis area.
You can start renting the bikes this morning at one of many locations.
