ST. LOUIS- A chimpanzee at the St. Louis Zoo died on Wednesday from cancer. 19-year-old Holly was euthanized after her liver cancer advanced.
Veterinarians were unable to remove Holly's tumors and according to the zoo, the cancer was irreversible.
Holly was one of eight chimpanzees at the Zoo's Jungle of the Apes and Donn and Marilyn Lipton Fragile Forest.
