ST. LOUIS — Former NFL star Reggie Bush is seeking more than $25,000 from the Rams and two public entities that own and operate the former Edward Jones Dome after a 2015 injury. Bush's lawsuit is being heard before a jury this week in downtown St. Louis.
In November of 2015, Bush was playing for the 49ers when he slipped on the concrete surface that separated the sidelines from the stands. Bush was carted off the field and was out for the remainder of the season. The lawsuit says the concrete is referred to by some as the "concrete ring of death."
The suit claims the defendants — Rams and the two public entities (RSA, CVC) — "permitted and maintained a dangerous condition..."
Reggie Bush is expected to testify in the civil trial. His lawyer told 5 On Your Side that the case is expected to wrap-up early next week.
