Thief wanted for holding up Walgreens in south county

The thief got away with cash and was last seen running east down Jefferson Barracks Drive.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY — A man is wanted for robbing a cashier at knifepoint in south St. Louis County.

The suspect walked into the Walgreens at 2700 Telegraph Road at about 9:51 p.m. Saturday. He pulled out a knife and demanded the employee give him money from the cash register, police said. The thief got away with cash and was last seen running east down Jefferson Barracks Drive.

A surveillance photo distributed by police showed the suspect wearing a ski during the robbery. Police added that he’s about 5’8” tall with a thin build.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
