ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – Police are investigating after a child drowned Friday night.

Just after 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 2600 block of Leene Drive to investigate a report of a 15-month-old girl who was found unresponsive in a pool by her grandparent's home.

Officials said an investigation suggests the girl wandered from the home and fell into the pool.
