Man found guilty of 2018 triple homicide in Spanish Lake

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A man has been found guilty in the 2018 murder of three people in Spanish Lake.

Prosecutor Wesley Bell's office confirmed on Wednesday that Demetrius Laron Davis was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree assault and four counts of armed criminal action.

Officers were called to a home in the 1100 block of Northdale Drive on the night of April 25, 2018. They found Melissa Tierney, 40, Brandon Stephenson, 36, and Timothy Solano, 20, dead inside the home.

Court documents said they had all been shot in the head at close range.

A 49-year-old woman was also found shot at the scene. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition and survived.

SPANISH LAKE, Mo. - A 27-year-old man has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the triple homicide in Spanish Lake. Demetrius Davis was charged on Friday. He was taken into custody on Thursday. According to court documents, Davis is accused of shooting the three victims in the head at close range.

St. Louis County police arrested Davis, then 27, the day after the shooting.

Davis' sentencing is set for Dec. 9.
