16-year-old among 2 killed in double shooting in Berkeley

BERKELEY, Mo. — Police are investigating after two men were found dead in Berkeley, Missouri, Tuesday afternoon.

Berkeley police were called to the 8300 block of Graybirch Drive for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. The men were transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The victims were identified Wednesday as 16-year-old Anthony West and 28-year-old Angelo Shine. Police said they believe everyone involved in the case knew each other, but they do not have any suspects at this time.

The St. Louis County Police Department was called in to assist in the investigation. The St. Louis County Police Department's Crimes Against Persons Bureau is handling the ongoing investigation.
