ST. LOUIS — A woman died Thursday morning after fire crews responding to a fire call could not revive her in a St. Louis home.
City of St. Louis firefighters were called to a building fire. Inside, fire crews found a woman and started to resuscitate her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of her death was not known.
Cooking caused the smoke that drew the crews to the building at 19th Street and Lucas Avenue.
