ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Missouri American Water has canceled a precautionary boil water advisory for parts of St. Louis County after a failed water quality test in the Webster Groves area on Saturday.

The advisory was lifted at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Water quality test results that came back Sunday showed the water is safe to use again, Missouri American Water confirmed.

The advisory affected about 59,000 customers, including residential homes and schools in the Glendale, Shrewsbury and Webster Groves areas.
