The Blues have a new goalie in the system.
On Thursday they traded with Anaheim for 27-year-old goalie, Jared Coreau.
Coreau was 3-6-2 with the AHL's San Diego Gulls this season posting a 3.57 goals against average and a .985 save percentage.
An Ontario native, Coreau appeared in 21 NHL games for the Detroit Red Wings from 2016-2018 where he tallied a 3.74 goals against average.
The Blues will send "future considerations" to Anaheim to complete the deal.
Coreau will report to the Blues' AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
