Monday night's Cardinals/Pirates games had just about everything.

A clutch extra inning grand slam, a dazzling defensive play, some high drama at the end and even a few laughs.

The laughs came courtesy of Cardinals center fielder Yairo Munoz.

In the seventh inning of Monday's game, an unnecessary Munoz outfield dive gave his teammates, and the fans, a nice chuckle.

Pittsburgh's Adam Frazier sent a fly ball into left center field, where St. Louis left fielder Tyler O'Neill made the easy catch. Then, out of nowhere, here comes Munoz flying into the background.

The unnecessary dive gave everyone a good laugh, including Munoz. The broadcast even showed his teammates in the bullpen cracking a few smiles afterwards.

While his diving skills might have proved unnecessary, Munoz has actually been very productive as of late for the Cardinals. He's hitting .295 for the club this season, and has also played every position except pitcher, catcher and first base.
