Blues bring up Kyrou, Jordan Nolan from AHL

The Blues are recalling a pair of forwards ahead of their game against the defending Stanley Cup champions.

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues are getting reinforcements from their AHL affiliate ahead of their game on Monday.

On Sunday, the Blues announced the team is recalling forwards Jordan Kyrou and Jordan Nolan from the San Antonio Rampage.

Kyrou, 20, was chosen for the 2019 AHL All-Star Classic and was named the AHL's rookie of the month for December. He leads the Rampage with 11 goals and 25 points in 26 games. He has dressed for the Blues 11 times this year and tallied a goal and an assist.

Nolan will also be making the trip from San Antonio. The 29-year old joined the Blues organization after a year with the Buffalo Sabres and six years with the Los Angeles Kings. He has appeared in 11 games for the Blues this season, compiling two assists and 14 penalty minutes.

The Blues will be in Washington D.C. Monday night to take on the defending champion Capitals. The Blues beat the Capitals at the Enterprise Center on Jan. 3.
