Blues fans make presence known in San Jose

The Shark Tank in San Jose can be an intimidating place to play. Blues fans are making the hostile environment a little more inviting for games one and two.

SAN JOSE, Calif. — As my colleague Ahmad Hicks pointed out on Twitter, neither of us saw more than five Sharks fans until we were actually in the arena in San Jose on Saturday for game one.

Once we were inside, something else started to catch our eyes, too. Blue.

Even though San Jose is more than 2,000 miles away from St. Louis, the Blues were well represented in the Shark Tank.

Even though game one didn't go the Blues' way, the fans in attendance made their presence known when it was time to cheer.

A group of Blues fans made their way down to the ice to welcome the team out before game one. One of the coolest scenes, which you can see a bit of in this video, was a Blues fan waving the St. Louis flag up against the glass during warm-ups.
