ST. LOUIS — Blues defenseman Jay Bouwmeester will miss the remainder of the Blues' season with a left-hip injury, the team said Monday.

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced the injury following Saturday's game against the Dallas Star. Bouwmeester, 34, will be sidelined for four to six months. In a press conference, Armstrong said Bouwmeester has been dealing with his injury since December.

Additionally, forward Scottie Upshall will be re-evaluated in four weeks after a left-MCL sprain during the Saturday's game in Dallas.

Armstong will hold a press conference Monday morning to further the detail of Monday's developments.
