It was all about the fashion at Royal Ascot

People come for the horse races, but it's the fashion that keeps everyone talking.

WINDSOR, UK — Another Royal Ascot has come and gone, and once again, we’re still talking about what everyone wore.

Here’s a look at four of our favorite outfits.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall – every day of Royal Ascot

Camilla has consistently looked “queen-like” at all royal events recently, and Royal Ascot was no exception. She looked beautiful every day she attended, but the outfits she wore on Days 1 and 2 are our favorites.

More from the Royal Dish podcast:

Queen Elizabeth – Day 3

Queen Elizabeth attended all five days of Royal Ascot, but her outfit on Day 3 was particularly beautiful. She wore a steely blue-gray coat decorated with yellow flowers around the neckline and paired it with a matching hat adorned with feathers and flowers.

Zara Tindall – Day 3

Zara went with teal for Day 3 – a color that looked beautiful on her. Her dress was simple – long sleeves with ruffles on the front and with a high ruffled collar. She chose a matching hat that swirled around her head and contained a flower in the middle.

Queen Maxima – Day 1

Queen Maxima’s hat was by far the most elaborate worn by any royal this year. Her large hat was made up of dozens of dusty rose-colored fabric flowers that swayed in the breeze. She paired her hat with a simple dress of a similar color and subdued pattern.

It was so hard to pick our favorites that we needed to include two honorable mentions: Princess Eugenie on Day 3 and Lady Kitty Spencer on Day 1.

This week’s episode of the Royal Dish podcast is devoted to everything Royal Ascot, and includes an interview with Julie Staley of Springfield, Illinois, who attended Day 3 of the event and “bumped into” Queen Elizabeth.
