PACIFIC, Mo. — Both directions 44 Outer Road Loop in Pacific, Missouri, were closed after a train car derailed Wednesday. The road has since been cleared and is back open.
The train was in the area of a silica sand plant operated by the US Silica Company. Firefighters said they were not aware of any injuries.
A traffic report on the MoDOT traveler map said the closure is expected to last six hours, but it was cleared just a few hours after.
