ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — As of 9 a.m. Monday, the ramp to eastbound Interstate 270 from S. New Florissant Road is closed for construction work.
The closure will last three months, the Missouri Department of Transportation said. Drivers can take the following detour from New Florissant Road:
- Travel onto eastbound Dunn Road.
- Keep driving and turn right onto Washington Street/N. Elizabeth Avenue
- Travel over I-270 and turn left onto the entrance ramp to eastbound I-270
The closure is part of MoDOT's $278 million I-270 North Project. The project plans to update and replace aging pavement and bridges, better link communities, improve bicycle and pedestrian accessibility and improve traffic operations and safety.
