Fall colors are peaking in the St. Louis area

If you want to see all the beauty fall has to offer, now is the time to get out and peep some leaves!

ST. LOUIS — Trees in the St. Louis area are bursting with shades of red, orange and yellow.

The eye-popping fall colors are hitting their peak – and they’re deserving of all the "oohs and ahhs."

Every year the team at SmokyMountains.com releases an interactive map projecting when fall foliage will peak in every county all across the country.

The 2020 map shows fall colors in the St. Louis area are in their peak right now. This week is the perfect time to check them out. The weather has been clear and sunny with highs in the 70s – and it’s expected to continue into the weekend.
