This Halloween could be the coldest in a decade for trick-or-treaters

The wind chills are expected to dip down into the 20s during prime trick or treat time.

ST. LOUIS — A cloudy and gray week continues for us with widespread rain forecast for mid-week.

Tuesday is cloudy, with some early drizzle possible. Temperatures will stay in the 40s.

A significant storm system arrives from the southwest of our region, bringing rain late Tuesday and lasting through the day on Wednesday. Chilly 40s will also be with us Wednesday, leading to a raw and gray day.

Rain continues Wednesday night through early Thursday, decreasing to light showers early Thursday.

Additionally, a few snowflakes may mix in early Thursday morning. Otherwise Halloween day is cloudy, with just a few sprinkles lingering through Halloween evening.

Temperatures will be turning sharply colder on Thursday evening.

It could be the coldest Halloween in a decade for trick-or-treaters. The temperature will be in the 30s, but the wind chill will make it feel like it's in the 20s.
