St. Louis waking up to dusting of snow

Temperatures will take a nose dive tonight as well with overnight lows back into the mid to upper teens.

ST. LOUIS -- A Winter Weather Advisory is effect for the greater St. Louis area through 6 a.m. Wednesday. Travel could become slick with a dusting to 1” left behind by Wednesday morning.

Areas south of St. Louis, from near Farmington, Missouri, over toward Carbondale, Illinois, could see 1-2" of snow by daybreak Wednesday, with freezing rain & sleet mixed in as well.

While most of the activity in St. Louis will fall as snow, there is the potential to have some freezing rain and sleet mixing in initially with it all changing over to snow overnight.

Temperatures will take a nose dive tonight as well with overnight lows back into the mid to upper teens. Tomorrow morning, the snow should clear the area by 6 a.m. with sunshine returning by the afternoon.

Highs tomorrow only top out near 30.
