St. Louis thaws as temperatures climb above freezing

Temperatures are beginning to warm, but it's still slick west of the metro

ST. LOUIS — The winter weather advisories in the St. Louis have all expired as temperatures climbed above freezing Sunday afternoon. 

The warmer temperatures into the afternoon will help melt icy spots on roadways, but elevated areas such as bridges, ramps, and sidewalks could still be slick. Use caution if you're planning to be out before noon.

Precipitation comes to an end this evening, and we'll have clouds overnight into Monday morning.
