A man is facing charges, accused of killing another man in the Skinker Debaliviere neighborhood.
Police say 23-year-old Davontay Vastine fatally shot 23-year-old Rolando Bolden Jr.
It happened in the 5800 block of De Giverville.
According to a police report, a surveillance video showed Vastine standing over the victim, shooting him. He apparently admitted to the shooting, telling police "I didn't want him to get up."
Vastine was then shot in the forearm, hand, shoulder and face by a female witness.
Vastine has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. He is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
