Man charged for O'Fallon gas station robbery

O'Fallon police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a gas station on Bryan Road early Monday morning.

Shaun Wilga is facing a first-degree robbery charge for allegedly robbing an O'Fallon gas station.

A suspected gas station robber was arrested Tuesday and is now facing charges, just a few days after police say he robbed a gas station on Bryan Road.

According to the O'Fallon Police Department, Shaun Wilga, 25, was arrested in Richmond Heights on Tuesday, and is now facing a first-degree robbery charge for his alleged involvement a robbery that occurred early Monday morning.

Police said they received a call from the UGas on the 800 block of Bryan Road at around 4:15 a.m. The man demanded money and indicated he had a gun, police said Monday. He was handed an undetermined amount of cash before leaving the store.

Wilga's bond was set at $75,000.
