A Lincoln County woman is accused of shooting at her boyfriend, but hitting her friend during a night of drinking.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Toni Lynn Morris was drinking with her boyfriend when she became combative, retrieved a handgun and started shooting at him.
During the incident, a 41-year-old woman was shot in the left bicep. The boyfriend was not injured.
Morris told police she had drank a fifth of rum along with the boyfriend and the victim. She told police she couldn't remember much else about the night, but said she did not believe she fired a weapon.
Police say three children, ages 1, 2 and 5 were in the home at the time of the shooting.
Morris has been charged with first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action, attempted domestic assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated.
She's being held at the Lincoln County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
