KSDK -- Police are looking for two people accused of killing a 19-year-old to steal his gold chain.
Schron Jackson with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said witnesses said Terrance Mims was walking north on Riverview at 8:24 p.m. Sunday when a man demanded his gold chain.
Police said the suspect then took Mims' chain and punched him in the mouth. A second person fired several shots as Mims tried to run away.
Police said Mims was shot in the head.
He was taken to an area hospital where he died.
