KSDK -- Senator Barack Obama's rally under the St. Louis Gateway Arch turned out to be one for the record books.

The rally attracted roughly 100,000 people according to St. Louis Police. That set an all-time attendance record for a Barack Obama rally in the United States. It was the largest assembly of people in St. Louis since the 1904 World's Fair.

The only Obama event to attract more was held in Berlin, Germany on July 24. It attracted more than 200,000.

Police reported no serious incidents at the rally.

Obama left St. Louis for Kansas City, where he will hold a rally at the Liberty Memorial Saturday night.
