KSDK -- It's not even mid-October, and Chicago could already be getting its first snowfall.
Forecasters in the Windy City believe the flakes could start falling sometime Sunday. If the snow sticks, it would be the earliest recorded measurable snowfall in Chicago.
The previous record was set just three years ago when it snowed on October 12.
In 1989, Chicago saw 6.3 inches of snow in October.
