NEW YORK CITY (NBC) -- Putting hands and knees to the floor, about two dozen babies scooted and squirmed their way through a 'diaper derby.'
Some babes burst on to the course at a New York City hotel. While others saved their speed and strength for the end.
The competition was fierce and strategies involved teething rings and toys at the finish line; anything to entice the crawlers to come on over.
Every baby rolled out with a free stroller.
No word on whether there were any other presents left in the diapers. The diaper derby is part of the Nautica New York City Triathlon.
