Police are investigating after an 11-year-old boy was shot in north St. Louis Wednesday night.
Police said he was shot once in the buttocks at around 8:40 on the 5100 block of Northland Avenue. Police said the child was rushed to the hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Neighbors said it was a drive-by shooting. They said they heard as many as 16 gunshots.
The investigation is ongoing.
