St. Louis man charged for ramming officer's car

Jose Gonzalez-Ochoa as charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to government supported property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of eluding a police officer. His bond was set at $100,000.

CASEYVILLE, Ill. – A St. Louis man is charged after police say he rammed a patrol car three times while trying to drive away from police.

Jose Gonzalez-Ochoa is facing 5 felony charges including aggravated assault and fleeing and eluding a police officer.

Caseyville police say officers were called to the Caseyville Community Center because of possible shots being fired.

When officers got there, Gonzalez-Ochoa ran from police, got in a car and rammed a patrol car three times.

Police eventually blocked him in and arrested him.

He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to government supported property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of eluding a police officer. His bond was set at $100,000.
