Police arrested a man in connection with a Monday armed robbery in Rolla.
Police said the man walked into the Quality Inn Monday morning, pulled a gun, then pepper sprayed the clerk in the face when he found out the register was empty. On Tuesday, 33-year-old Tyler D. Johnson was arrested in Carbondale, Illinois.
Police said he is being held in Carbondale and is wanted in connection with multiple robberies in the Missouri and Illinois.
Police say he got away in a newer white Dodge Challenger and was last seen heading east on I-44.
