ST. LOUIS — Two teens were robbed and briefly kidnapped in St. Louis’ Walnut Park East neighborhood Monday morning.

Police responded to the 5800 block of Thekla around 6:45 a.m.

Police said a 17-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy said they got off a Metro bus at an unknown location when they thought they were going the wrong direction. While they were standing on the sidewalk, a black four-door car stopped in front of them and four unknown men in ski masks pointed guns at them and demanded their property.

When the teens didn’t give them their items fast enough, the men ordered them to get into the car. They then drove around for approximately 15 minutes before the victims were dropped off near W. Florissant and Pope.

The robbers got away with the victims’ cellphones. The teens were not injured.
