KIRKWOOD, Mo. — If your go-to pizza joint is the Kirkwood-area Pi Pizzeria, you'll need to start looking elsewhere.
Thursday, the St. Louis-based pizzeria announced on Facebook that their Kirkwood location will close its doors for good on Sunday, February 25. The restaurant cited the loss of their employee parking lot due to redevelopment nearby, which left "fewer than 25 guest parking spots."
"That just doesn't work for us or our guests, as there are neither street parking nor private lot options open to our guests or team for overflow parking," Pi said in the post. "Additionally, our restaurant's building will likely be redeveloped in the very near future. So, we are left with no other option but to find another home."
The restaurant said a new delivery feature will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Kirkwood location closes at 9 p.m. Sunday. They are located at 10935 Manchester Road.
