In honor of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Vampire Weekend brought their "Father of the Bride" tour to Austin to a sold-out crowd at ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Aug. 20, 2019.

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — One of the most highly anticipated album drops was quickly followed up by a North America-wide tour announcement from the same band.

Vampire Weekend's 'Only God Was Above Us' tour, named after the band's newest album, will span 39 venues across the nation, including a stop in St. Louis.

The band announced it would be playing at Maryland Heights' Saint Louis Music Park on July 25.

"Every region of the country will be treated to their own very special guests — several of whom hold local significance —all of whom are beloved by the band," the band's announcement said. "Those guests include: LA LOM, The English Beat, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mike Gordon, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ra Ra Riot, Princess featuring Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum, Cults, a DJ Set By Mark Ronson, Turnstiles and The Brothers Macklovitch."

Ticket presales will start on Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. and general ticket sales will start on Feb. 23 at 10 a.m., the band said. The band encouraged fans interested in early ticket access to sign up on Vampire Weekend's website here.
