A Place To Call Home: Meet Trever

Following your dreams: In today’s A Place to Call Home, that dream included a simple instrument, a generous spirit, and a talented young man.

ST. LOUIS — Music is 17-year-old Trever’s love language! He’s crazy gifted on the guitar — which was self taught. He fell in love with the instrument when he was just five years old. Not only is Trever musically gifted, he is also creative. His favorite class is woodworking where he can use his skills to create unique and functional works of art.

Trever is proud of receiving the Youth of the Year Award. He considers himself easy-going but active, hardworking and generous. Trever wants a family who can help him into adulthood, share new experiences with him — really, a family like any other typical kid.

It’s no surprise Trever’s little wish is music related! He would like to see Brett Eldredge in concert. If you would like to learn more about becoming part of Trevor’s life or granting his little wish, please call the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition at 1-800-FOSTER3.

A big shout out to Acme Guitars for the generous gift of a new guitar for Trever! He said it’s a gift he will never forget!
