Girls in the Know to Host 2nd Annual 'I am Enough' Empowerment Summit

Celebrate their 15th anniversary and feel empowered at the 'I am Enough' summit.

ST. LOUIS — It is Friday, and we are celebrating our young girls in the St. Louis Metro Area. Girls in the Know is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower girls to embrace their sense of self and know they are enough. The organization works with preteen and teenage girls to equip them with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful.  They are also celebrating their 15th anniversary this year.

Friday morning, Executive Director of Girls In the Know, LaKricia Cox, and Emmy-awarded Jade Harrell joined us in the studio to share how you can register for this year's "I am Enough" Empowerment Summit.

The summit is catered to preteen and teenage girls across the St. Louis area. The event will feature presentations including, "Recentering your Crown" by keynote speaker Jade Harrell, wellness activities, and a panel discussion on topical issues for adolescent girls, such as bullying, managing stress, etc.

The "I am Enough" Empowerment Summit will be on Sunday, Apr. 27, 2024, from 10 to 1:30 p.m. at the St. Louis University's Center for Global Citizenship. Register online now.
