ST. LOUIS — Get ready for a cinematic experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Premiering today is a new film called "Missing in STL."
It's described as a heart-pounding thriller that takes you through the whirlwind of emotions of laughter, crying, etc. "Missing in STL" is directed and produced by local film producer Christopher Daniels. It follows the tragic story of a teenage girl whose life takes a dark and fearful turn after the unexpected death of a loved one. She then becomes the target of a kidnapping and learns she's not alone. A group of kids also go missing and the film takes you through the journey of trying to become free.
Malik Wilson got to speak with Daniels and the lead actress, Aliyah Marcano. The main goal of the movie is to spotlight the missing people/cases here in St. Louis that happen in real life and shine a light on finding them and promoting change.
