Step inside the Chase Club, and it'll take you back almost 100 years.
Theron Pajares, chef de cuisine, said, "Kind of speakeasy, dating back to the advent of Chase Park Plaza and paying attention to that time frame."
From 1920 to 1962, the original Chase Club existed in the space that is now Chase Park Plaza Cinemas.
"A lot of performers dating to the Rat Pck that played at the Chase Club," said Theron.
After several months of renovations, the Chase Club has modern vintage vibe. And you won't find your typical bar food.
Theron said, "5 star sports bar."
You cant go wrong with the Chase Club Burger, which has bacon onion jam, or the house fried rice, topped with a fried egg.
The Chase Club also has 18 on draft beers as well as an on draft cocktail.
Joshua Johnson, Beverage Manager, said, "This is one of our new summertime cocktails on draft, really cool, comes straight off the taphandle."
