Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay to open new restaurant in downtown St. Louis

The restaurant will launch a "soft opening" on April 17, allowing a limited number of reservations until service ramps up.

ST. LOUIS — Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, best known for his passionate food critique on television culinary shows like "Hell's Kitchen," has chosen downtown St. Louis to open his latest restaurant.

Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis located inside the Horseshoe Casino at 999 N. 2nd Street partnered with Ramsay to open a new Ramsay's Kitchen By Gordon Ramsay restaurant on April 17, according to a hotel spokeswoman. The restaurant will launch a "soft opening" that Wednesday, allowing a limited number of reservations.

Chef Ramsay's travel experiences inspired the restaurant concept, taking its guests on a "global culinary journey."

Event planners designed this initial phase as a way to allow members of the culinary and staff teams to learn the new concept and ramp up their service.
