How the St. Louis Aquarium can help you get revenge on your ex this Valentine's Day

Name a mealworm or cricket after your ex and watch it get eaten live on Valentine's Day.

ST. LOUIS — Looking for a way to get back at a not-so-special someone this Valentine's Day? The St. Louis Aquarium can help with that.

The aquarium's "Love Bites" fundraiser is giving people the chance to get revenge on an ex-partner while also benefiting education and conservation, according to its website.

To participate, simply donate here through noon on Valentine's Day. $5 gets you a veggie named after your ex, $10 gets you a mealworm and $25 gets you a cricket. Then, on Feb. 14, you'll receive a digital Valentine's card thanking you for your support and a video of one of the aquarium's animals eating your chosen item.

You don't have to be from St. Louis to participate, but you must be 18 years or older.

Check out the aquarium's Instagram and Facebook accounts on Feb. 14 to watch the feedings live. The weekend after Valentine's, the aquarium will announce the names of the most popular not-so-special someones.

According to the aquarium, 100% of the money raised through the program will help the St. Louis Aquarium Foundation in its conservation and education efforts.
