Japanese versions of the racing game Mario Kart 8 for Nintendo's Wii U will feature luxury car maker Mercedes.
Polygon reports the 2015 Mercedes GLA will be available as a vehicle option in the form of downloadable content. The vehicle will only be available in Japan only.
Seems innocent enough. However, Nintendo lent its biggest star, Mario, to a new ad for Mercedes. It starts with Mario driving a Mercedes on the first level of the original Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System, before he busts out into the real world.
And, yes, real-life Mario looks really weird.
