NOGALES, Ariz. - According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, one of "America's Most Wanted" criminals has been arrested at the Port of Nogales.

Richard Max Randolph, 63, was arrested by Mexican authorities and turned over to customs officials last Friday.

He was listed on the U.S. Marshals' "America's Most Wanted" website in December 2015 for failing to register as a sex offender, according to border officials.

The site said Randolph was a "tier 3" sex offender -- the highest level -- convicted of oral sexual battery of a child.

Randolph's arrest warrant was out of St. Charles Parish in Louisiana and he was turned over to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department.
