ST. LOUIS — The family of a woman who disappeared from the Queen of Peace Center rehab facility said she had been found Monday.

Editor's note: This story has been updated to protect the woman's privacy.

Her cousin said the mom of four went missing on Oct. 20.

The family leaned on Theda Wilson and her nonprofit, Looking For An Angel, which helps in missing persons’ cases. She said her drive comes from searching for her missing son, Christian Ferguson.

Wilson's ex-husband, Christian’s father, was convicted of his murder last year.

“I don't know where my child's remains are, but I still feel the pain that these families go through because I've lived through it. I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly. And that's one reason why I do this, to try to address those circumstances,” Wilson said.

The woman's brother Darrin said the family had felt left in the dark by both the police and the facility.

“Let us know something. Let us know what you're doing. We don't know what you're doing,” Darrin said.

They said was hard to carry on knowing she might have been in danger.

“I still got to go to work," Darrin said. "We got to. I got to maintain a regular life. We are taking care of all four of her children right now. So it's very hard right now."
