Gina Perschbacher, a former Big Shark employee, has been charged with identity theft, accused of using company credit cards to steal tens of thousands of dollars worth of bike parts from the store.

Two former Big Shark employees are accused of working together to steal from the bike shop.

According to a police report from the Chesterfield Police Department, Gina Perschbacher and Christopher Ploch, who were dating, worked together to steal tens of thousands of dollars worth of bicycle parts over the course of a year and a half.

During an investigation, it was determined that Perschbacher had linked a company credit card to her PayPal account in April 2015. The couple is accused of purchasing more than $40,000 worth of merchandise then not entering the parts into the store's inventory.

Perschbacher has been charged with felony identity theft for using credit card information was not lawfully permitted to use. She's being held on a $25,000 bond.

Chesterfield PD says it has not arrested Ploch, so any charges against him and his mug shot are not immediately available.
