EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Two children were shot and injured early Friday morning inside an East St. Louis home, Illinois State Police said.
The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. at a home on the 1800 block of Central Avenue. Two "juveniles" were taken to an area hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, ISP said.
Police did not release the ages or genders of the children or further details on what led to the shooting.
