ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A doctor from Maryland Heights had his medical license revoked last month.

Abhishek Jain's medical license was revoked on April 12, a few months after he pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual abuse and two counts of second-degree sodomy.

Jain worked as a doctor at Interventional Pain Management Services back in 2017. According to court documents, in October, a 60-year-old woman reported to police that she is a patient at a pain clinic and during an appointment Jain groped her breasts and genitals with his hands. The woman stopped the exam and left. Days later, the same thing occurred to a 61-year-old woman during her appointment.

He pleaded guilty to the charges on Jan. 7 and was sentenced to 5 years of probation. He was also required to register as a sex offender.

On April 12, the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts revoked his license.
