The victim was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

FLORISSANT, Mo. — The Florissant Police Department announced Tuesday afternoon that a suspect was arrested in connection to a shooting that happened over the weekend in the parking lot of a McDonald's.

In a Tuesday update on Facebook, the department said the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Tyrone Brock of Florissant for his role in the shooting. Investigators with the department quickly identified Brock as a suspect and arrested him without incident.

He is currently being held in the St. Louis County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

In a Monday Facebook post, the department said the shooting happened Sunday evening in the parking lot of a McDonald's located at 1090 Shackelford Road. One person was shot and injured and the restaurant was damaged.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Police did not share an update on his condition as of Tuesday night.

The restaurant building was damaged by gunfire, leaving the front door shattered and inaccessible to customers as of Sunday evening.

There were no other reported injuries. Police have not shared details on what led up to the shooting or any possible suspect(s).
