ST. LOUIS — Two men were robbed by a group of people Monday afternoon inside a dorm room at Harris-Stowe State University.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Laclede Avenue on the campus of the historically Black college.

Police said two men, a 21-year-old and a 22-year-old, were invited to the dorm of a mutual friend on campus that afternoon. When they entered the room, two men wearing ski masks pointed pistols at them. The two masked men, along with a third man, stole belongings from the pocket and bookbag of the 21-year-old victim.

The three suspects left the dorm room and got inside a silver Jeep Compass occupied by two women.

The victims were not injured during the robbery.

Police had not made any arrests as of Tuesday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.
