Police are investigating after one man was killed and another was hurt in a shooting Wednesday night.
Police were called to the 2600 block of Hickory Street at 9:53 p.m. in St. Louis. They found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hip in the 2600 block of Rutger. He was conscious and breathing when police arrived.
While searching the area, officers found a second victim in the 2600 block of Hickory. Christopher Williams had been shot in the head. The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
