Man found shot to death at north St. Louis County gas station

The victim was identified as 28-year-old Daijion Miller of St. Louis.

MOLINE ACRES, Mo. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in north St. Louis County Tuesday night.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, Moline Acres officers responded shortly before 6:45 p.m. to a gas station in the 2400 block of Chambers Road for a shooting. At the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. 

He was identified Wednesday as 28-year-old Daijion Miller of St. Louis.

Police said the victim drove himself to where he was found after the shooting happened in an unknown location. 

The City of Moline Acres has requested the St. Louis County Police Department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons to investigate the fatal shooting. 

The investigation is ongoing.
